DRIVE (Day 12 - part 3)
Our hotel in Moab was right on the main road, so it was easy to take an evening stroll to a nice restaurant.
The old downtown
The Dewey Bridge was built over the Colorado River in 1916. It could support the weight of 6 horses, 3 wagons and 9,000 pounds of freight and was a vital link connecting Utah with Colorado. Unfortunately it was burned down in 2008 by a 7-year-old playing with matches. The restaurant holds its name in memory.
Mmmm, root beer and a veggie burger!
The moon lit our walk home.
