CANADA (Day 9)
Again we awoke to rain but decided to take the canoe out anyway after breakfast.
The cat also enjoyed some breakfast of leftover whipped cream.
Walking the canoe to the lake
Wendy and Ric did all the work... while I just sat back and enjoyed the ride.
Gliding underneath the bridge
Eventually the rain became too much and we turned back.
A wet and soggy view
Again we consoled ourselves with a trip to a couple wineries.
Rustico Farm & Cellars was quite fun with its pioneer theme.
Clothes hung on the line... and a dinner triangle waited to do its job.
It was here I fell in love with the "Farmer's Daughter."... Storage tanks and saddles, a perfectly logical combination!
The skies began to clear as we arrived at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, which has been making wine since 1993. It offered amazing views of the valley.
Cheers!
We had another lovely evening of socializing and making pizza.
