LAS VEGAS (Day 12 - part 4)

Bill and Joanne went to see the Jersey Boys show, a Broadway musical about Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons...

... while I wandered about outside. I debated going to the top of the tower but it was just a bit too pricey. There were plenty of other entertaining things to do.

The 4-mile long Las Vegas Walk of Stars was started in October 2004 to honor those who helped make Vegas famous. Each star is made of Red Indian Granite and weighs 180 pounds. As many as 3,000 stars can eventually be installed.

While Bill and Joanne got to enjoy Frankie Valli inside, I got to enjoy him outside!

Remember our hotel wedding chapel sign??

At sunset, I stopped to watch the large dancing waters in front of the Bellagio. The free show runs every 30 minutes during the afternoon and every 15 minutes at night.

The Fountains of Bellagio have been an attraction since the resort's opening in 1998.

The waters dance to more than 30 different song.

The waters reach a height of 45 feet.

As the sun set, the city began to glow just as radiantly from all the lights.

Looking up 541 feet

The Las Vegas Monorail pulls up to the Bally's/Paris station.

Next door was The Cosmopolitan. Opened in 2010, it doesn't have a directly apparent theme as do the other casino hotels. Suffice to say it's a collection of color, textures, funky art and interesting fashion.

Night was in full swing when I returned to the streets, but I decided to just return to the hotel and call it a day.

There were numerous street performers.
