MPUMALANGA (Day 19)

We started the day with a visit to Natural Rock Bridge. Some small rapids flowed under a stone archway.

One of the more spectacular waterfalls, Mac Mac Falls, was the hardest to get to. Vendors took up most potential parking spots; the path was hard to find; and a monstrous, rusty, old grate made viewing rather difficult.

Horseshoe Falls was quite secluded and seemed more like a picnic area than a tourist attraction. It was rather slippery to get to.

Lone Creek Falls was part of a tributary of the Sabie River. A wet, slippery, slimy, jungle path led us to the thunderous 220-foot-tall falls.

We then set out for Pretoria where we stayed with some family members. We swam, played with Sheeba the dog, enjoyed some beer and conversation, and had a lovely dinner.
