TRAIN (Day 6)

We took an early taxi to the train station to catch a train to Marrakesh. We had a breakfast of pastries and sweet, mint tea while we waited. Our compartment was full for most of the 8 hour trip. Our route took us back over Cassablanca and then inland into rolling red sparse hills.

Upon arrival, we were mobbed by taxi drivers and promptly selected one to take us to our hotel overlooking the main square of Place Djemma el-Fna. From the rooftop we could watch the evening food market.
