WILD WEST (June - July 2013)

These were short trips into various parts of Colorado, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and South Dakota to introduce Regan (a friend from New Zealand) to what the Wild West really means. We used Boulder (Colorado) as a homebase.

Deadwood (gunfight, Boot Hill), Wall Drug, Badlands, Minuteman missile site, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park,
Mammoth Fossil site, Cheyenne capitol building


TRIP 3

Leadville (mining museum), St. Elmo ghost town, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Redstone coke ovens, Maroon Bells, Climax


TRIP 4

Taos pueblo, Santa Fe, Petroglyph NM, Petrified Forest, Hubbell Trading Post, Canyon de Chelly, Four Corners, Mesa Verde,
Durango-Silverton steam train, Alamosa, UFO tower, Great Sand Dunes
